DJ Media
My husband (Daniel) and I started a small business a few months ago. It isn't a formal business. It's more of a "sideline" (as Filipinos would call it). We have no office or personnel. All we have is a Facebook page. All of our clients are friends we know. This "business" that we have actually started as a hobby. For several years now, we have been designing logos, certificates, backdrops, tarpaulins, give-aways and what-nots for several friends. All the work we did was for free. But, naturally, people notice work/service that is done with a heart. A lot more people are asking us to design stuff for their birthdays and such other special occasions, and so, we decided to make it into a small business. We only ask for a minimal amount for our service, and we employ the services of third parties for the printing since we do not have equipment (yet). Thankfully, we never ran out of clients. I had two clients last week, and my husband had three. Whoever gets a client does the design. Daniel and I have different design styles but we see to it that we "cross-check" all the designs: he checks my design, and I check his designs - so that they will be viewed through a different perspective. Most importantly, we see to it that the designs are according to the specifications of the client. Here are samples of the work I did last week:

This is for a shop located at Central Market (Bacolod City). I told the client that the proper name should be "Dominic's" - it should be in the possessive form, but he likes to keep things simple. The Filipino language doesn't actually have possessive forms for nouns, and so, most could not probably relate to the "'s" at the end of his name.

This is another design I made for a church's 50th Anniversary.
Other than graphic design, we also edit music. Back then, we even offer garage recording for local bands, but we don't have time for that now. Presently, we simply do remixes or segue music needed by performers. Last time, we did a lengthy segue of dance music - and our ears/heads were still thumping hours after we finished editing the music. Aw.
Our business also offer random services. We offer art workshops, music and software tutorials, and every other random stuff that people in this world need.
We call our business DJ Media, a combination of our names: Daniel and Jasper. And this is our logo:
