Why Blogger? Why Koolkolourz?

Before posting anything on my thoughts, ideas, or opinions, I believe it is best to answer the question "Why start a blog at Blogger?"  Well, I've noticed that everything on the Internet is connected.  I have my gmail account (I gave up on Yahoo Mail years ago -- don't ask why!), I have a YouTube account, and I have a Google+ account.  I can actually connect all of them.  And then, it dawned on me that I can also "connect" my blog to Google by "transferring" my blog to Blogger.  So, that's why I'm here.  Truth is, before finally deciding on settling on this blog, I have had many blogs in many different sites that sometimes I even forgot what my usernames and passwords are in those different sites.  Now, because my entire life is in Google, everything is connected and I only have to remember one username and one password. Whew!  If my online life in Google will work out fine, I might actually give up my other personal sites.  Presently, I have a personal website: www.koolkolourz.webs.com.

And now, on to the question "Why Koolkolourz?"  Koolkolourz actually started out as my pen name.  I wrote poems and short stories when I was in high school, and I observed that writers with pen names seemed cool.  So, I thought of a pen name that would sound cool and classy (or something to that effect).  I loved reading fashion magazines (but I am not really so fashionable.  I just love reading the articles), and I noticed an ad for a hair color: Kolours.  And so, I thought that having the word Kolours in my pen name would sound nice.
And I added the word Kool, also spelled with a "K" because the word "cool" in the 90s sounded cool. Aw, too many cools. And, in case you missed that, I was in high school in the 90s.  My original pen name was actually spelled Koolkolours, but to make it cooler, I decided to change the "s" at the end into a "z".  And now, it's Koolkolourz, an alternate name I've been using for almost 20 years.

And here is a picture of me in first year high school.  There were no digital cameras back then, so this photo was scanned and uploaded here.  The picture looks a little bit fuzzy. Sorry about that.  I am with my mother in this picture and this was taken after our Recognition Day.  Uhm, I don't look so cool when I was in high school. My bangs are also kind of messed up.  I didn't have time to comb or fluff it right before having this picture taken.
